Good afternoon, earlier today we had students in the elementary school involved in a terroristic threat. After an extensive investigation, we have determined that there is not an ongoing threat at the elementary school. The students involved have been dealt with and parents contacted. Again, the safety of our students and staff are of the utmost importance!
Thank you,
Kevin Noack

We look forward to Read Across America Week March 3-6. 📚

We hope you will join us!

Don’t let the disguises fool you, these kids are expert reading detectives! These 2nd-4th graders solved tons of cases and had a blast at our after school book club. Thank you to all who signed up and volunteered!

Third graders in Mrs. Stockton's class read a story with their group, came up with a theme, and then justified their theme to the class using information from the story. All students were so engaged and loved it!

There is no better way to start your day than hundreds of hugs and high fives! ❤️

Mrs. Brookman's students worked on counting and fine motor skills this week. Keep up the great work!

Just For Kids visited our kindergarteners today, teaching our students about good dental hygiene. Students practiced brushing & flossing! We hope they practiced their new skills tonight!

Author's purpose scavenger hunt turned into an Author’s purpose debate in Mrs. Haveners 4th grade classroom! 📖

Please let us know if you recognize these glasses. They are missing their owner!

National School Counseling Week is February 3 - 7!
Palmer ISD would like to thank our fantastic counselors. They put in so much time and hard work to ensure the well-being and success of our students. Thank you so much for all that you do for our schools and our students! We appreciate you!

Palmer ISD will be closed today January 30th due to flooding roads.

Flu season is hitting hard this year! Please remember that your child MUST be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications before they can return to school. If they take Tylenol or Motrin to get them through the day, they need to stay home. If your child has diarrhea, please keep them home until they are diarrhea-free for 24 hours. Diarrhea is 3 or more episodes of loose stools in a 24-hour period. As always, good hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of germs!
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy!

Attention 2-4 grade parents - register your student for the Mystery Book Club scheduled for February. Parents will have to make transportation arrangements. Spots are limited - sign up today!

Celebrations continued this afternoon with our students that earned perfect attendance for the second nine weeks. We had 82 students attend The Creature Teacher!

Learn practical tips on keeping your child safe online, including dangers of social media, examples of protective software and time allotments for child internet usage.
If you attend tonight, your child and/or children will receive 5 Top Dog cards. See you tonight @ 630 in the PES cafeteria.

Jingles and Joy continue with their mischief! Yesterday they drew silly faces on some student and staff pictures; this morning they were playing in the ball pit and the gumball machine!
