Welcome to Palmer Elementary School, Lindsay Orr!
Hello, Palmer Family!
My name is Lindsay, and I am so excited to be joining the Palmer ISD family! I have spent the past 16 years in education, and for the last seven years I have served as a Gifted and Talented Coordinator, collaborating with students, teachers, and families across all grade levels. I earned my master's degree from East Texas A&M University and am currently completing my dissertation, with plans to earn my doctoral degree later this year.
I am a proud parent of Lainey and Wyatt, who attend Palmer ISD. I am excited to invest in the Palmer community while also enjoying the opportunity to spend more time with my family.
When I'm not at school, you can usually find me fishing in tournaments, spending time at the lake, making memories with my family, dancing, or volunteering. I love building relationships, supporting students and families, and finding ways to make a positive difference wherever I can.
I can't wait to meet our students, families, and staff. I'm excited for a wonderful school year and feel truly grateful to be part of the Palmer ISD family. Go Bulldogs!

As the school year comes to a close and summer begins, Palmer ISD pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
We are forever grateful for their service. Wishing all of our Bulldog families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Today we were honored to celebrate the elementary teacher of the year, Mrs. Carvalho, and paraprofessional of the year, Mrs. Reed! These ladies exemplify a strong work ethic and work to provide an inclusive environment for all students. We are thankful for their leadership at PES. Please join us in celebrating their success! 🖤💛🖤

Students entering Kindergarten–6th grade for the 2026–2027 school year are eligible to participate. Be sure to register by THIS Thursday, May 21st, to receive a free shirt!

Our principal of the day, Mr. Phillips, found a good balance between work and play during his day of being in charge! He told Mrs. Cunningham this morning he wanted to "sleep, eat and help out today." 😉 Mr. Phillips and Mr. Bodie completed door checks, classroom observations and lunch duty, and he also helped Mrs. Cunningham with morning announcements, lost and found and some end of year planning. Mr. Phillips volunteered in kindergarten and first grade classrooms before some extra recess and specials with his class. While there wasn't time to sleep on the job, he did enjoy a 30 minute movie break this afternoon! We made sure Mr. Phillips enjoyed his CFA lunch in the office. A big "thank you" to the Phillips family for supporting our school and purchasing this opportunity at our fall carnival.
