We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Franklin to Palmer Elementary this fall! She has been cheering on her husband, Coach Franklin, and his teams the past couple of years. Help us show Mrs. Franklin a warm welcome to life as a Bulldog!

Mrs. Butler is coming full circle - graduating from Palmer High School and now returning as a proud member of the staff. Let's show her a warm Bulldog welcome to Palmer ISD!

After years of living in the community, Mrs. Willis is joining Palmer ISD! Her enthusiasm is contagious and our second grade students are lucky to get to work with her each day. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Willis!

With years of experience in early childhood, adding Ms. Laza to our kindergarten team was an easy decision. She is a perfect fit for our campus! We are so excited to welcome her to PES!

We are so excited to bring one of our own back to Palmer Elementary! Please join me in welcoming Lindsay Leal as a new third grade teacher at the elementary!

PISD staff wrapped up a fantastic school year! The end of year celebration allows the district to recognize our teacher and paraprofessional of the year.
Mrs. Greenlee makes such an impression on her students, always finding ways to make learning fun. Students visit her year after year, stopping by to give hugs and tell her how much they miss being in her class. She refers to her students as "my kids" and "our classroom family." Mrs. Greenlee's positive impact is felt across the campus and she is always willing to lend a helping hand.
Mrs. Wright is a task master and stays busy! Not only does she serve as our Title I aide, helping students with their reading, she also fills any need. She is constantly asking, "Is there anything I can do to help?" From cleaning out closets, hanging up hall displays, making copies or even calling names in the carline (on pajama day 😉), nothing is ever too much.
We recognize the talent across our campus. Our staff is top notch and includes the very best people with a heart for kids! Please leave a comment celebrating our PES staff!

Senior Walk this morning allowed us to celebrate the PISD senior class of 2025! Our youngest Bulldogs wish you the best in this next chapter!

Elementary Field Day is tomorrow! Please make sure that you put sunscreen on your child in the morning. Students are welcome to wear hats. Every student will need lots of water due to the expected temps.
We do have a surprise from the fire department so a change of clothes would be helpful. 💦

Mrs. Carvalho's students spent more than 10 hours researching dolphins and sharks and making their dioramas. We all learned lots of new facts! Be sure to ask your second grader about their ocean project!

Today at PES, our amazing teachers got to create their own personalized travel bags. They were treated to a delicious potato bar, thanks to Mr. Noack, Mrs. Middlebrooks, and the district. These small tokens of appreciation can't begin to match the heart, time, and energy our teachers give every day, but we hope they felt a fraction of the love and gratitude we have for them. Thank you, teachers – you truly go above and beyond!

These two ladies are making a big impact on our campus! Mrs. Brookman is serving in a new role this year as our Life Skills teacher; she is making positive changes, always advocating for student's needs. Nurse Carlee consistently has a smile on her face and never loses her patience, despite 125+ visits each day! Not only is she a staff member of the month but it's also School Nurse Day! Please join us in congratulating their hard work! 🌟

Day two included lots of caffeine and sugar! One of our families treated our staff to a Freddy's sundae bar! Thank you to the Phillips family for their generous donation! The campus provided a table full of snacks and drinks...our staff loves to eat! 😉

PES and Career Exploration

Today kicked off teacher appreciation week and we celebrated with a taco truck! Did you know that the average teacher works 55+ hours in a week (even with a 4-day instructional week)? Many of those hours are spent working after hours and on weekends. We hope you celebrate all of the hard work and dedication of our staff!
