We are looking for 3 volunteers to help with our picture day on March 19 from 7:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Volunteers will call classes down and ensure students are lined up in the correct order. You will also check students to make sure their hair and outfit and picture perfect! 🤩 As a thank you for your time, volunteers will receive a $50 voucher to order prints from Ivey Photography. Here is a glimpse into our fun week of coding in the library!

The 100th day of school is Tuesday, February 24! It is one of our favorite days because many students dress like a 100-year-old. Time to pull out those moomoos, curlers, bow ties and suspenders! 👵🏽🧓🏻👴🏿👵🏼 Please follow the dress code and make sure your child has appropriate shoes for recess and PE.

Each month we spotlight two of the amazing professionals in our building who inspire, support and make Palmer Elementary such a special place. Our January staff member of the month is Mrs. Ana and Mrs. Kinney is our teacher of the month! Ms. Ana always sets a great example, constantly working to keep our building in tip-top shape. She never complains about the amount of work, covers shifts whenever needed and always treats every person with kindness. Mrs. Kinney transitioned from third to fourth grade this year and has been incredibly successful in both grades. She creates an inclusive environment where every child is valued, loved, challenged and respected. May 1, 2026 will be a REGULAR school day for staff and students of Palmer ISD.

Due to the school closures because of icy weather conditions at the end of January, Palmer ISD will use Friday, May 1 as a make-up day for school.
