Our October teacher of the month is Mrs. Stockton and our staff member of the month is Mrs. Lawson! Both of these ladies are dedicated to their jobs and give 110% every day. Mrs. Stockton transitioned to math after a couple of years teaching ELAR. She also serves as our 3rd grade team lead. Mrs. Lawson works with our Pre-K students; she helps our Spanish-speaking students in their transition to school. Please join us in celebrating their accomplishments!!

Wednesday we will show support for our students battling childhood cancer. We hope you will wear gold! 💛

Friday was "No One Belongs in the Shadows Day!” We wore camouflage to remind us that no one should feel hidden or left out. Just like camo blends in, people can feel invisible—but when we reach out & say hello, we help others feel included. * We were so excited to have our very own real-life heroes, Palmer Police Officers, welcoming us! It's great to be a Bulldog!!!
❤️💗

"Start with Hello"
Wednesday~Dreamwork is Teamwork!!
*Varsity Cheer and Football Players greeted our students and helped to make them feel wanted and included! We wore our favorite team shirts today.
When we work as a team, our dreams grow bigger and brighter. So reach out, include others, and show what teamwork can do!
Today's Challenge: Look for those sitting or playing alone and reach out.

“Start with Hello” Week
“Start with Hello” Week is a national program started by families of Sandy Hook victims to prevent student violence and isolation. By reaching out to others—especially those who seem different or alone—we can help everyone feel more included and connected. Next week, Ms. Chambless will be meeting with students to teach lessons on the importance of inclusion and how we can all learn to look out for one another. The program focuses on building empathy and empowers students to end social isolation by following three simple steps:
1. See someone alone
2. Reach out and help
3. Start with Hello!
Be sure to check out some of our planned activities for next week, and talk with your students about the importance of making others feel seen, heard, and included

Happy Grandparents Day 2025! A huge thank-you to everyone who came out this past Friday. Our Grandparents’ Game Day was a great success!

Palmer Elementary is fortunate to have the very best staff! Please join us in celebrating our teacher and staff member of the month! Mrs. Lee transitioned to a new role as a resource teacher and has put in many hours of work "behind the scenes" for training, learning new systems and to complete paperwork. Mrs. Camargo is the face of our campus! No matter how crazy the day is, she always has a smile. We appreciate her willingness to help support our entire campus community! Well done, ladies!

Jayden worked so hard and is rounding like a boss! Mrs. Stockton was excited to celebrate his success!

Does your child have their water bottle? Our lost & found collection is growing! Please comment with a description and your child's name so we can return them.
