Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Fillmore, our August teacher of the month, and Mrs. James, our staff member of the month! Lots of planning and preparation went into Pre-K transitioning to the portables. Mrs. Fillmore helped campus and district admin problem-solve and maintained a smile throughout the transition. In addition to her positive attitude, she also loves her kids and makes sure that their first experience in school is FUN! Mrs. James joined our campus this year and continues to be a team player! From schedule changes, adding first and fourth grade music classes, or last-minute coverage, her answer is always, "Yes!" Our staff is incredible and works tirelessly to support our students and families. We are blessed with the best in PISD! 🖤💛🖤

**Updated prices and some new options! The elementary is excited to offer snacks and à la carte items during breakfast and lunch beginning Wednesday, September 16! Here is the menu for September 7 - 10!

Mrs. Stockton's class is practicing rounding to the 10s and 100s place. Students put numbers in order and then determined whether to “stay on the floor” or “climb the vine” according to the rounding rules. The concrete pieces, being able to move and manipulate the numbers, and then visually seeing what hundreds the number was closest to really help them to grasp the concept.

We hope all PISD families enjoy a 4-day weekend! 🐾

Congratulations to Palmer ISD’s FIRST Teacher of the Game, Mrs. Lauren Fennell!

Lauren is beginning her 2nd year at Palmer Middle School, where she teaches 8th grade Science and serves as the NJHS Sponsor. Lauren loves working in PISD because of the small-school feel and the incredible community we have here. She creates engaging science lessons because she believes science should be hands-on and fun! This year, Lauren is also launching the Middle School Travel Group and planning an exciting student excursion to Boston. We’re also proud to have her two daughters as Palmer Elementary students!

Help us celebrate and congratulate Mrs. Lauren Fennell, our very first Teacher of the Game!

We have lots of students that earned their first collectible today! Thank you for your support of our Big Kahuna fundraiser! We hope to raise enough money to pay $10/student for field trips AND purchase some inclusive playground equipment! Students can earn a seat on the party bus by selling 15 items (20 items with our family plan)!! 🚀
