📣🖤JV Cheerleader of the Week! 💛📣

IT'S GAME DAY!! 📣

The Veterinary Medicine class is starting their clinical procedures, preparing to open the doors for our Bulldog Bathing patients in a few weeks.
The class learned about placing dogs in recumbency positions and how to hold patients to keep them and the technicians safe during procedures.
We are appreciative of Scout and Remi for always being easy and gentle volunteers 🐾

Volleyball continued their Thursday themed practices as they prepare for their district opener tomorrow at Keene. Good luck ladies!

🏈 JV is now (2-1) on the season as they fall to Scurry-Rosser 34-20 tonight.

September 11 is a day to remember those lives lost, the heroes who willingly served, and a country forever changed.
We will never forget.
We will never forget.

Mrs. Vines's Livestock Production class has been learning various livestock management practices and paused for a couple of days to learn exactly what all those notches in pig ears meant!
They had fun making pig ear hats and Mrs. Vines notched all of the ears differently and each student had to walk around and read their classmate's notches!

“Start with Hello” Week
“Start with Hello” Week is a national program started by families of Sandy Hook victims to prevent student violence and isolation. By reaching out to others—especially those who seem different or alone—we can help everyone feel more included and connected. Next week, Ms. Chambless will be meeting with students to teach lessons on the importance of inclusion and how we can all learn to look out for one another. The program focuses on building empathy and empowers students to end social isolation by following three simple steps:
1. See someone alone
2. Reach out and help
3. Start with Hello!
Be sure to check out some of our planned activities for next week, and talk with your students about the importance of making others feel seen, heard, and included
