Howdy, Palmer!

I'm excited to be joining the Palmer Pack as a Biology teacher! This is my 22nd year in education, and while I've taught a variety of high school science courses, biology has always been my favorite. There's nothing better than studying one of God's greatest creations—life!

Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, I made my way to Texas and became a proud Aggie. My husband, Shane, and I have been married for 31 years and have two grown sons, Jameson and Jonathan. We also share our home with two dogs and a flock of chickens!

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me cooking, singing, making soap, raising cattle, or tackling a new project just for the fun of learning something new.

I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow Bulldogs and making it a great 2026 school year. Stop by and say hello—I just might have a fresh pot of coffee waiting!

Welcome to Palmer High School, Ty Sebek!

My name is Ty Sebek. I'm originally from Rogers, Texas, and graduated from East Texas Baptist University in December 2024. Over the past two years, I've had the opportunity to coach in East Texas.

My wife and I have been married for six months, and we're excited to be welcoming our first child—a baby boy due in December! We both love sports and were student-athletes at ETBU. We also love spending time with our basset hound, Otis.

Most importantly, our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of our lives. We are incredibly excited and grateful to become part of such an amazing community, and we can't wait to meet everyone!

Hi! My name is Victoria Blake and this will be my 7th year of teaching! I was raised in Ennis and graduated with my teaching degree from East Texas A&M University.

My husband and I have two wonderful kiddos: Karaline, who will be in first grade at Palmer Elementary, and Brooks, who is eight months old. We also have a golden-doodle named Ranger! In my spare time, you can usually find me spending time with my family, watching movies, traveling, or reading a good book!

I am so excited to be apart of Palmer ISD and look forward to meeting my students and their families!

Welcome to Palmer Elementary School, Amanda Zambiasi!

Hello! I am excited to join the Palmer Elementary family as the General Education Counselor. This marks my 18th year in education and my 8th year as a school counselor. Before becoming a counselor, I taught Special Education and served as a Head Cross Country and Track Coach.

My husband, Travis, and I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary this year. We have three wonderful children. Adelyn will be in 3rd grade and loves tumbling and anything that lets her be creative. Zak is starting Kindergarten and tells the best stories and jokes. Jaxon, our youngest, will be in Pre-K. He is full of energy and keeps our family on our toes!

We are excited to join the Palmer community and look forward to getting to know everyone. I can't wait for a wonderful school year!

Welcome to Palmer Middle School, Cheryl Bagby!

I am so excited to be joining the Palmer ISD family as a math teacher this year! This will be my 11th year teaching math, and I can't wait to share my love of learning with my students.

A little about me—I met my husband while we were both serving on active duty in the U.S. Army, and this December we'll be celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary! We have two incredible sons. Our oldest is finishing his degree at Texas Tech University, and our youngest is currently attending the Firefighter Academy.

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll usually find me curled up with a good book, watching a great movie, or traveling with my family. I'm beyond excited to become part of the Palmer Middle School community and can't wait to meet all of the amazing students, families, and staff. Here's to a fantastic school year!

Welcome to Palmer Middle School, Tabbetha Fernandez!

Tabbetha Fernandez is proud to begin her career as a paraprofessional at Palmer Middle School, returning to the district that has been a significant part of her life. A lifelong member of the Palmer community, she attended Palmer schools from elementary through high school, where she graduated and was actively involved in athletics.

With a passion for helping students learn and grow, Tabbetha is excited to give back to the school district that helped shape her. She is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed.

Outside of school, Tabbetha is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters who will also attend Palmer Elementary, making her family's connection to the district even more meaningful. In her free time, she enjoys playing slow-pitch softball and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Tabbetha looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of Palmer students and being an active member of the Palmer ISD community.

What an incredible week at UCA Cheer Camp! 🖤💛 The Palmer High School Varsity Cheerleaders worked hard, pushed themselves every day, and represented Palmer ISD with pride. Day 1 is in the books, and we're working hard! 💪 Varsity and JV cheer earned a Spirit Stick, learned all of the camp material, and mastered new stunts. Blaze and Bella the Bulldogs also earned a Spirit Stick! Skylar and Macie went home with Night 1 "Top Bananas" for their effort and versatility. 🍌So proud of the team's energy, determination, and hard work. Can't wait to see what the rest of camp brings! 🐾📣
