This weekend the Palmer Bulldog Guard went to Navarro Guard day! They took student created solos and ensembles to perform. The talent and dedication these students possess is amazing! They will take these solos and ensembles to an NTCA competition this Saturday in Alvarado! Wish them luck!

Third & fourth graders have their Math STAAR test tomorrow. Students have been working hard all year and it's time to showcase their skills! We will not have any campus visitors on testing days. The following strategies are helpful for a stress-free morning: * Be on time * Eat a good breakfast * Bring healthy snacks & water * Get everything ready the night before * Dress in layers * Go to bed early Monday night

Next week is one of our favorites - Staff Appreciation Week, May 4-7! Here are some ideas of how you can help celebrate our incredible PES staff!

This past weekend, Alyson Meachum and Emma Odle competed at the Regional UIL competition and represented us so well! Both students performed exceptionally in a highly competitive district and region.

Emma placed 5th in Editorial Writing and earned 4th place (State Alternate) in Copy Editing. We are so proud of their hard work and accomplishments!

National Decision Day is this Friday at 9:00 AM!
We are excited to recognize every senior as they take their next step—whether that’s attending college, trade school, joining the military, or entering the workforce.
If your student plans to attend a college or trade school and would like to host a table to showcase their decision, please contact Mrs. Jones at leann.jones@palmer-isd.org by Tuesday, April 28th if you have not already done so.
Table setup will begin at 7:30 AM.
Families are invited and encouraged to join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone!

Bulldog BBQ Teams had an awesome day. Bulldog BBQ Gold consisting of Angel Gutierrez, Cilas Willis, Oscar Zarco and Nic Villa were 5th overall out of 96 teams. They had State Champion Brisket, 8th Place Beans and 17th Place Dessert. The Bulldog BBQ Black Team consisting of Manuel Zarco, Cole Spurlock and Weston Kannegieter were 10th overall as a team. They had State Champion Ribs. Angel Gutierrez received a $1000 scholarship for having 1st place brisket. Cole Spurlock received a $1000 scholarship for having 1st place ribs.

Bulldogs win 8-1 tonight over Rice on Senior Night! Thank you Matty, Eric, and Eli for your dedication to the program!

The Belles are back in action and can't wait for football season! Loving their spirit and teamwork! Anything but a cup today! ❤️

The Bulldog BBQ Teams have made it to the HS BBQ State Championships in Granite Shoals. They are setup and ready to cook tomorrow. Now we are enjoying Bingo and meal this evening before our cooks meeting. Wish our teams luck as they compete tomorrow.

The PHS Cheerleaders are hosting their annual Youth Cheer Clinic! Students entering Kindergarten–6th grade for the 2026–2027 school year are eligible to sign up. Register by May 21st to receive a free shirt! We can’t wait to see all that Bulldog spirit! 🐾
