Palmer ISD would like to introduce our new head softball coach - Kayleigh Johnson!
Coach Johnson's passion for softball began at the age of four and continued through high school and select-level competition before evolving into coaching and mentoring young athletes.
She has coached at both the junior high and high school levels, gaining experience in athlete development, leadership, and building a positive team culture.
She and her husband, Tyler, are raising their two daughters, Delaynie (4) and Adeline (1). Family and athletics have always been important parts of her life, and she hopes to pass along the values of teamwork, discipline, and love for the game to her children.
Having grown up in the area, she is excited for the opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the program at Palmer Independent School District.
