We are happy to celebrate Mrs. Leal and Coach Phillips, our March teacher and staff member of the month! Both of these ladies make a big impact across our campus. Mrs. Leal finds creative ways to make reading and language arts fun and engaging. She continues to make a positive impact on the third grade team. Coach Phillips' positivity is contagious! Interacting with every student in PE is tough, but she maintains a smile and consistently works to do what is best for kids. The boys finished the Final Round of Regionals today in Brenham.
They improved both days and finished 13th Overall!
Eric Cisneros was our top finisher and was 34th out of 95 golfers!

Senior Decision Day – Class of 2026
We are excited to celebrate our seniors and their next steps after graduation! Whether they are going to college, trade school, the military, or entering the workforce, we are proud of each student and the path they are choosing.
Our Senior Decision Day will be held on May 1st at 9:00 am, and we invite families to be part of this special celebration.
Seniors planning to attend college, a trade school, or have enlisted in the military, have the opportunity to create a “spirit table” representing their future plans. This is a fun way to showcase their accomplishments and what lies ahead!
If you would like to participate with a table, please sign up by April 22nd.
This event will also include a special recognition ceremony where all seniors will be honored for their post-graduation plans.
We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 and all of their hard work and achievements!

The Bulldogs are ready for Round 1 at the Regional Tournament!
PES participated in a keyboarding challenge hosted by Learning.com and our school ranked 94 out of 227 participating schools. The following are the top 3 participants in both third and fourth grades.
3rd Grade:
Nate - 42 wpm with 100% accuracy
Genesis - 33 wpm with 95% accuracy
Koltyn - 29 wpm with 92% accuracy
4th Grade:
Brooklyn - 53 wpm with 98% accuracy
Olivia - 53 wpm with 94% accuracy
Ariana - 45 wpm with 93% accuracy
Way to go to all that participated and these students with extra fast, and accurate, fingers!
Third & fourth graders have their RLA STAAR test on Tuesday. Students have been taught by the best and are ready to showcase their skills! We will not have any campus visitors on testing days.
The following strategies are helpful for a stress-free morning:
* Be on time
* Eat a good breakfast
* Bring healthy snacks & water
* Get everything ready the night before
* Dress in layers
* Go to bed early Monday night
