This morning our mayor and first responders joined our Palmer ISD leaders for a first responders lunch to show our appreciation for all they do for our community.

Dr. Duce and Mrs. Middlebrooks provided safety and security updates as well as discussed plans for future expansion for our district.

Palmer ISD appreciates the hard work and dedication of our community leaders!

The Palmer FFA had the honor of hosting the Blackland District FFA Convention on Friday. We submitted Lonestar Degrees as well as competed in the District Speaking Contest. We had a speaker in every category but two. Our speakers did exceptionally well for their first year participating in this contest! These students have been practicing with Ms. Chapman every week since we returned from Christmas Break. They have worked so hard. We had three students one place away from advancing to the Area contest (3rd place) and two students who did advance! Congratulations to all our speakers on a successful SDE season. We are so proud of you! Goodluck to Ryleigh, 2nd place Ag Business and Rosa, 1st place Animal Science at the Area Contest! *not all students who attended are pictured as many had prom prep to do that day as well
