More county show projects.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Ellis County Youth Expo and we start it of with an awesome group of Ag mechanics students. It is the first show for a lot of these students. We have some very hardworking and talented students. Please wish them luck tomorrow. We are lucky to have the support of some awesome parents and family members that have stepped in and supported our students encouraging and helping them along the way. Thanks to the parents that helped us transport our projects to the expo today. Your help and support is very much appreciated. We have 20 projects that were built and exhibited by students in 4th -12th grade.

Our February teacher of the month is Mrs. McDonald and our staff member of the month is Mrs. McAfee! Mrs. McDonald serves as our first grade chair, but lends a helping hand all across our campus. She works to build an inclusive environment, supporting the needs of every student. Mrs. McAfee wears 100 hats a day - registration, attendance, Friday school, grade book, POs, secretary...the list goes on! She is truly the reason our school functions on a day-to-day basis. Please join us in congratulating these ladies and all of our hard working staff at PES. Every person has a heart for kids and together we make up the best elementary staff in all of the state! 🖤💛🖤

Pre-K and Kindergarten Round Up is next week! We hope you will join us at the elementary at one of the following times!
Thursday, March 26, 5-6:30 p.m.
Friday, March 27, 9-10 a.m.
Please bring the required documents when you come!

⭐️ CTE Spotlight Night is TONIGHT ⭐️
📢 Parents 6th-11th:
Has your student come home talking about next year’s schedule yet? Do you have questions about the offerings for “electives” (CTE courses) at both the MS and HS levels and want further explanations on how to set your student up for success?
Come hear about CTE and how it can both enhance your student’s MS and HS experience as well as meet necessary graduation requirements.
When? TONIGHT 3/19 6pm
Where? HS Cafeteria/ Classrooms
We will showcase all of the CTE Programs of Study offered at the HS as well as discuss how your student can get started as early as MS, helping your student get a head start on meeting graduation requirements as early as 8th grade!

Just a reminder that there will be a senior class parent meeting tonight beginning at 6 PM in the PHS Library. We will discuss all end of year activities.

Good luck to our 72 students taking the SAT at Palmer High School today!
