Each year the district's holiday card is designed by PISD students. This year featured the art of three elementary students. Congratulations to Liam Brown (1st place), Junior Hernandez-Merino (2nd place) and Adriana Castillo (3rd place).

Fellowship of Christian Students collected supplies and donations. They are providing 16 boxes to Operation Christmas Child, a program that sends Christmas gifts to children around the world. Thank you so much to everyone that supported this service project.

PHS Hope Squad is excited to host 12 Days of Holiday Cheer!

The last two weekends some of the Bulldog Band members went to visit college band programs. Navarro and Tarleton hosted high school band days where students got to come out and see what college band is all about. The Bulldog band members enjoyed the college game day experience!

Awesome job today by our PHS BBQ Teams. They competed at the Regional TX HS BBQ Inc in Lancaster. Both teams turned in quality product. The Gold team competed last week and came up a little short of qualifying for state but showed tremendous improvement this week. This was the first ever competition for the members of the black team and had a tremendous day for there first competition.
Bulldog BBQ Gold was represented by Angel Gutierrez ( Pitmaster),Oscar Zarco, Cilas Willis, Nicolas Villa, David Rodriguez had following results.

Both teams qualified for the state competition and will compete at the state championship in late April. We still have more work to do but congratulations on to them both for qualifying for the state competition.









It is a windy day in Lancaster as our Bulldog BBQ teams compete at the regional contest trying to qualify for the Texas High School BBQ State Championship. Wish them luck as this is our first time to have multiple teams competing at an event. Thanks to Bug Stop Pest Solutions and TX Air Assurance for their generous donation to our growing program.



The Bulldogs’ season came to an end tonight with a hard-fought loss to a tough Grandview team. They finish the year at 8–3 and should be proud of everything they accomplished. Thank you to our seniors for your dedication and commitment to this program over the past four years.
