🥉2025 PSCAA Bronze Medalists🥉
The Palmer Indoor Drumline concluded their season Saturday at the NTCA Percussion Championships with a 3rd place finish. The group scored an 84 on a challenging program. Congratulations to these students on their hard work this season.
Come join us TONIGHT in the PHS library to learn about Colorguard! (current 8th-11th grade students) This informational meeting is mandatory for tryouts. If you would like to tryout and cannot make it to the meeting email, Mrs. Ramsey for a makeup date.
Try-outs will be April 14-17 4:30-5:30.

Thursday rounded out the Ellis County Stock Show with steers! Aubrey Elder, Jenna Rhodes, Sydney Stewart, Jacob Medina and Lucy McCarty exhibited their steers and finished out in the middle of the pack. Lucy’s steer, Ricky snagged a sale spot!
Congratulations to all of our exhibitors at the stock show this year! They work extremely hard and are dedicated to learning the value to agriculture.

On Wednesday the pigs took the stage. Kooper Patino and Emma Spurlock secured sale spots while all other exhibitors showed exceptionally well in some steep classes, most finishing just 1-2 spots short of a sale hole.
ALL of our pig exhibitors were dialed in this year with feeding and working with their animals and we are incredibly proud of them all!
Today is Librarian Appreciation Day! Palmer ISD would like to recognize our incredible district librarian, Mrs. Jagielski. We also thank Mrs. Mendez and Mrs. Silva for all of their hard work! Their passion for books and support for our students and staff make such a difference!

Tuesday brought the fun with the larger livestock at the Ellis Couty Stock Show with 2 goat exhibitors showing off their market wethers in the ring.
Rosa Castillo and Presley Masterson showed in light weight classes and exhibited their stock magnificently!
Our Palmer FFA market rabbit exhibitors showed their rabbits on Monday at the Ellis County Youth Expo. Our exhibitors did a great job this year raising their rabbits. Exhibitors included Kayli Cargill , Amethyst Ivie, Cole Spurlock, Emma Spurlock, Hattie Ross, Gracie Zhanel, Peyton New, Garrett New and Claire Nolan. Congratulations to Cole for placing fourth in class and Amethyst for placing eighth in class and making the Sale of Champions that will take place on Saturday.
On Saturday our Palmer FFA breeding rabbit exhibitors shows their rabbits. These exhibitors did an outstanding job getting their rabbits ready for show this year. 🥇🏆Claire Nolan - 1st place in class Lilac Fancy Senior Doe and Best of Breed. 🥈Harlee Miller- 2nd place in class Mini Rex Fancy Senior Buck Evelyn Castillo - 4th place in class Mini Rex Fancy Senior Buck 🥇Kaleigh Hartley - 1st place in class Mini Rex Fancy Senior Doe 🥇🏆Parker Manqueros - 1st place in class Netherlands Dwarf Fancy Senior Buck and Best of Breed.
Congratulations to Palmer FFA member Evelyn Castillo for making sale with her market broilers. This was her first year raising broilers. She did an outstanding job raising them. She placed 10th securing a spot in the Ellis County Youth Expo Sale of Champions.

Ellis County Texas AgriLife Extension Service was at PHS today giving an interactive presentation to our juniors and seniors on distracted/impaired driving.
Student Council packed up 13 boxes of night lights to send to children all over the country and world! Thank you to all who donated!!
