Congratulations to Palmer ISD’s FIRST Teacher of the Game, Mrs. Lauren Fennell!
Lauren is beginning her 2nd year at Palmer Middle School, where she teaches 8th grade Science and serves as the NJHS Sponsor. Lauren loves working in PISD because of the small-school feel and the incredible community we have here. She creates engaging science lessons because she believes science should be hands-on and fun! This year, Lauren is also launching the Middle School Travel Group and planning an exciting student excursion to Boston. We’re also proud to have her two daughters as Palmer Elementary students!
Help us celebrate and congratulate Mrs. Lauren Fennell, our very first Teacher of the Game!
A special thank you to our sponsor, Compass Realty, for supporting Palmer ISD and our incredible educators!

📣Jr. Varsity cheerleader of the week! 📣
One of our Ag Structures classes had some extra time this week to finish a project for the Middle School. We designed some signs to help visitors identify the main office entrance and the Gold Building entrance. Students are excited to get to work in the shop after finishing our annual safety training and review. We are excited to have the largest number of students that we have ever had enrolled in our Ag Mechanics classes. We are excited to see new students learning the welding trade and returning students improving and learning new skills.
🌎 Hands-on learning in Mr. Bailey’s class! Students made predictions about the relationship between vegetation and soil properties, then put them to the test by simulating a flood and landslide. A great way to explore the interactions between Earth’s spheres.

The PALs worked on their communication skills this week by giving instructions to "Aliens" on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Congratulations to Kolten Irion! He has been accepted to Oklahoma State University!

The cross country team made up of Emma Follis, Owen Manqueros, Dakota Depa, Ryder Fortenberry, and Anthony Puente ran at the Keene Invitational today. The next meet will be at the West Invitational on September 9th.
Tomorrow is the day PHS! All PISD schools will be at the pep rally Thursday morning. Let's make sure we have the most neon/bright colored clothing in the stands! What campus will take the first spirit stick of the season?!
