Boys basketball had their first game against Grandview today. Our 7th grade teams and 8B came up short, but 8A won! We are looking forward to a fun season.

Combo B game will start at 5, followed by the 7A game, followed by the 8A. All games will be played at the high school

This morning the 6th graders wrote letters of appreciation for Mr. Barrett in honor of Veteran's day. We listened to the Navy song (Anchors Aweigh) and Mr. Barrett showed us pictures of different ships. We love Mr. Barrett!

Some of our Jr FFA members spent some time after school this week getting to learn some basic shop skills. They learned how to use some of our woodworking equipment including the miter saw, scroll saw and sanders. Some of them also got to learn some basic welding skills.
WE DID IT! We donated enough cans to fill the bus and get a 1/2 day of school on Thursday, November 21st. We will dismiss at 12pm. Thank you for helping our Palmer community.

7th and 8th grade boys basketball tryouts will begin Monday at 715am. 8th grade boys will be at the high school gym and the 7th grade boys will be at the middle school gym.
**the boys games that were scheduled for Thursday, November 14th have been moved to Saturday November 17th. The first game will start at 10am. There will be more information next week**
We have an ADDITIONAL day for our food drive! All canned goods or non perishable foods must be turned in by the end of the day tomorrow. Thank you so much for helping our Palmer community.

Dear Palmer MS Community,
We would like to share some exciting news with you. As the bands prepare for UIL Concert and Sight-reading contest next spring we will take the 7th and 8th graders (2 bands or about 65 students) to perform on a stage in an auditorium at SAGU. They will receive feedback from a clinician and then go have a fun day at an indoor waterpark. We are having a fundraiser through Fan-pledge to help cover the cost. This is strictly donations and can all be done electronically through the Fan-pledge website. Checks/cash donations are also an option.
