6th Grade Parents:
The Texas Department of State Health Services will be at Palmer Middle School on February 12th to give the recommended 7th grade vaccinations to eligible children at school. This service is being done to increase the protection from vaccine preventable disease while reducing any barriers that might be involved in taking the student out of school and traveling to a clinic for vaccinations. The state of Texas requires that all students entering 7th have a Tdap booster and a meningococcal vaccine.
An information packet with consent forms will be going home with all 6th graders. If you would like your child to receive vaccinations, please read through the information, complete the consent forms, and return the forms to the school by 2/6/25. If you have questions about eligibility, please call: 817-517-2306.
