Summer Basketball Camp information

5th graders are reading Holes and teachers decided to join in on the fun!


5th graders are writing creative stories using Story Dice, a fun tool shared by our Technology Department!
They are also earning their way into a class Corn Hole tournament!






Fifth graders had fun throwing all that they know about science by throwing axes and tossing lizards into ‘Holes’ while reviewing for STAAR!





Due to STAAR testing on Wednesday and Thursday, our campus will be closed to visitors.


End of year events are going to be here soon! Make sure to check the Middle School events calendar (or PISD app) to stay up to date on field trips, awards, exams and other activities.

REMINDER! RLA STAAR test is tomorrow. Please make sure your student charges their chromebook and brings earbuds (if they use them). They are also allowed to bring snacks and water during testing. We know they are going to rock the STAAR!


5th grade has been immersed in "STAAR Madness" for the past month, honing their reading and writing skills. They're all geared up and prepared to rock the STAAR test on Wednesday!

Students in 5th grade had the opportunity to dress up and discuss formal versus informal language. In reading, they also partook in "high tea" to celebrate the occasion!











8th grade science used bubbles to learn about the characteristics of the cell membrane.

Middle School leadership students read to Elementary students to celebrate Read Across America week!








Lots of fun at play rehearsals! Cast and crew worked on team building this week by practicing communication, listening and cooperation skills with a fun activity called The Human Knot. On stage rehearsals start when we return from Spring Break. We are so excited to perform for the community in May! 🎭🎬




All students will take the math benchmark tomorrow, March 4th. Please make sure chromebooks are charged and students have heardphones if used. The campus will be closed to visitors tomorrow.
