Thursday rounded out the Ellis County Stock Show with steers! Aubrey Elder, Jenna Rhodes, Sydney Stewart, Jacob Medina and Lucy McCarty exhibited their steers and finished out in the middle of the pack. Lucy’s steer, Ricky snagged a sale spot!
Congratulations to all of our exhibitors at the stock show this year! They work extremely hard and are dedicated to learning the value to agriculture.

On Wednesday the pigs took the stage. Kooper Patino and Emma Spurlock secured sale spots while all other exhibitors showed exceptionally well in some steep classes, most finishing just 1-2 spots short of a sale hole.
ALL of our pig exhibitors were dialed in this year with feeding and working with their animals and we are incredibly proud of them all!

Tuesday brought the fun with the larger livestock at the Ellis Couty Stock Show with 2 goat exhibitors showing off their market wethers in the ring.
Rosa Castillo and Presley Masterson showed in light weight classes and exhibited their stock magnificently!
Our Palmer FFA market rabbit exhibitors showed their rabbits on Monday at the Ellis County Youth Expo. Our exhibitors did a great job this year raising their rabbits. Exhibitors included Kayli Cargill , Amethyst Ivie, Cole Spurlock, Emma Spurlock, Gracie Zhanel, Peyton New, Congratulations to Cole for placing fourth in class and Amethyst for placing eighth in class and making the Sale of Champions that will take place on Saturday.

Ellis County Texas AgriLife Extension Service was at PHS today giving an interactive presentation to our juniors and seniors on distracted/impaired driving.
Student Council packed up 13 boxes of night lights to send to children all over the country and world! Thank you to all who donated!!
