Congratulations to Ava Daniels! She has been accepted to the University of North Texas!
Tiny house update. We had a short pause due to a busy few weeks and delays from some weather but we were able to get back to work. Students have been working on getting the rest of the siding and trim done on the exterior. Next up is cabinets, plumbing, electrical and finishing out the inside.
Last week Kaleb Coolen and Ebin Headrick participated in the FFA State Forestry Career Development Event. We traveled to Nacogdoches to the Stephen F Austin State University Experimental Forest. In this event students have to identify hardwood trees, pine trees, measure tree volume and other forestry related tasks. It was the first time for these two in this contest and they did an outstanding job.

Varsity baseball will now play at 4:30 PM Friday in Rice. The JV will play after the varsity game.

April 22 is School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Palmer ISD would like say thank you to our bus drivers.

Eric Cisneros is a State Qualifier in the 300 hurdles!
He placed 2nd at the regional meet in Huntsville tonight with a 39.48!

Eric Cisneros shot a 170 over his 2 Rounds in the Regional Golf Tournament in Brenham this week. He finished tied for 23rd out of 96 golfers. Congratulations Eric on a great season!
Today, the Hope Squad hosted "Shred Your Stress", an event where students were encouraged to write down their sources of stress and shred them as a symbolic way to let go. They also organized an egg hunt by hiding six eggs around the school. Students who found an egg were challenged to reflect on their self-care habits and received a prize as a reward.
