For today's HOPE week activity, the HOPE Squad invited PHS students to write down their dreams and goals for the future and created a vision board banner.
Tomorrow's dress up day is mismatched!

Today, the Non-Varsity MS Band performed at the Region 3 UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluations at Canton HS.
The group received a rating of "excellent" on stage and the rating of "superior" in sightreading.
These students gave a great performance. The Varsity MS band will attend their UIL contest tomorrow.

PHS HOPE Squad members greeted high school students and staff this morning to kick off HOPE Week. This week we will have several activities to continue to bring awareness to mental health. Tomorrows dress up day is Disney day!

Elementary students will participate in an egg hunt on Thursday afternoon.

⚾️ Baseball Update
There will be no varsity baseball game in Palmer today. We are working with Village Tech on future plans.

The Varsity and Non-Varsity Middle School Bands attended the Cedar Creek Concert Contest yesterday in preparation for UIL next week.
Both gave great performances.
The NV received a rating "Excellant" on stage and in sightreading.
The varsity band received a rating of "Excellant" on stage and a "Superior" rating in sightrading.
Out of the five different ratings that can be awarded. Supirior is the highest, and Excellant is the second highest.
This year is the first time Palmer Middle School will take two bands to UIL contests. Only 3 of the 8 1C middle schools in our region will take 2 groups to contest.
