Our Jr FFA ag mechanics program has really taken off. Here are some of our returning members picking up where they left off last year. These young builders are building a chicken coop that they will show at the State Fair of Texas Ag Mechanics Project show next month. We are looking forward to lots of new students joining our program in the next few weeks as they began learning valuable skills and begin construction on their projects.

At Palmer High School in our Ag Mechanics classes students have the opportunity to create and design projects with our CNC Plasma Table. Students are able to learn how to draw and design artwork or components that can later be turned into custom fabricated projects. These are some of the designs and projects that we created this week. Stay tuned for lots more cool stuff through the year. Thanks to our school board, administration and IT department for allowing students us to have great equipment for our students to learn skills.

It's been a busy week for Palmer High School Ag Mech and Metal Tech students. Students have continued to practice the GMAW welding process. Students have also become familiar with using the metal chop saw, angle grinders and plasma arc cutting. Some students have also begun building their first projects of the year. Students are building custom fire pits that they will show at the State Fair of Texas Ag Mech Project show next month.
