On the third day of Start With Hello Week, our Palmer Middle School students wore green to show that we are all together in preventing social isolation. Today, 8th graders in Mrs. Miller's ELA class put Johnny Cade from The Outsiders on trial. Each student played a character, judge, or juror in court. Students had to analyze character traits, gather evidence from the text, and write statements to prepare for trial. All but two classes found Johnny guilty. #palmermiddle #theoutsiders #palmerbulldogs
