Palmer ISD -

A big congratulations to our Palmer High School State Championship Qualifier. They will compete at the High School BBQ championship in April. They competed against 18 teams from across the state placing 5th in beans and 7th in brisket. They worked hard today starting at 5:00 am in some really cold temperatures. It was the first competition for three of our four team members.

Palmer High School BBQ Team is participating at the High School BBQ regional competition in Arlington today. Wish them luck as they attempt to qualify for the state bbq championship.

💙 Palmer FFA had an amazing National FFA week! 💛 We want to thank everyone who participated in the dress up days and helped us find our missing farm animals! 🐷 🐮 🐥 We also welcomed elementary students to school Monday morning, enjoyed our very first Ag Olympics competition and learned while reading Ag related books to 2nd through 4th graders. Watch for information posts in August to learn how your student can join next year!

📣A huge thank you to the Stewart family for supporting our PHS cheerleaders and treating them to Canes before the game!

The season came to an end tonight with a loss to Mexia 48-40. Thank you to everyone who came out tonight, and has supported this group along the way.

Navarro College will be hosting an informational meeting about the PHS fire, cosmetology, and cybersecurity programs. While these programs are designed to start in a student's junior year, students of all grade levels are welcome to attend and learn more about these exciting opportunities!

Don’t let the disguises fool you, these kids are expert reading detectives!  These 2nd-4th graders solved tons of cases and had a blast at our after school book club. Thank you to all who signed up and volunteered!
