6th graders practiced using science equipment and following lab procedures this week in Mrs. Nolan’s class.

To ease the traffic for drop off in the morning, please read the following information. Cones are placed on the road to show there are 2 lanes. 5th/6th grade will use the left lane and pull up to the pole to drop off students. Please follow the pink arrows on the map and pull up to the star. Have your student exit the car and walk in front of your car toward the driver side of the car. Students can walk to the sidewalk in front of the 6th grade building and then to the entrance. Multiple cars can unload in front of the 6th grade building at one time. 7th/8th grade parents use the right lane to drop off at the pavilion. Follow the green arrows on the picture. For pickup, just follow the 4 lanes to the pavilion. Pick any lane to pick up! Thank you for working together and being patient!

We can't wait to see all our MS students tomorrow! Please have chromebooks charged for the first day. All students will receive a schedule tomorrow morning. Doors open at 7am.
Please follow the map for drop off locations. 5th/6th drop off is by the playground and students report to cafeteria . 7th/8th drop off is at the pavilion and students report to the gym.
School ends at 4:03pm and all students are picked up at the pavilion. It is important for the safety of our staff and students that the pick up rules are followed.
Please look at the PISD app or MS webpage to answer any questions you may have. See you at 7:25am!

Important Information for Bus Riders!
Morning routes should run close to schedule starting on Monday morning; there may be a slight delay as students learn the procedures. Afternoon routes will be delayed - please be patient and understanding that our drivers are doing their best to get your children home as safely as possible. Drop off times may be delayed as much as 30 minutes due to traffic and our youngest students learning where to get off of the bus. Any returning PISD student that rode the bus last year is able to ride the school bus beginning Monday. Any new to district students or students that did not ride the bus last year will not be able to ride until Wednesday, August 7. If you have any questions about bus transportation or route times, please contact Chandell Straley at chstraley@palmer-isd.org.

We are so excited to welcome our Palmer Middle School students on Monday! Here are a few things to help with pick up and drop off lines. Doors open at 7am. 5th/6th grade drop off is by the playground. 7th/8th grade drop off is at the pavilion. School ends at 4:03pm ALL grades pick up at the pavilion. There are 4 lines at pick up. It is VERY important that you drop off and pick up in the assigned locations. This helps keep our staff and students safe. Pick up does take a little bit the first 2 weeks, but it runs smoothly by week 3.
