
Great start to the week at the Ellis County Youth Expo. Palmer FFA members have exhibited their market broiler projects. There were 26 pens from across the county and Palmer FFA had 4 out of the top 5 pens. Emerson Robinson was Overall Grand and Reserve Champion (2nd consecutive year for these honors) and Ebin Headrick was 4th and 5th place in his first ever broiler show!
Please congratulate these exhibitors an a job well done.



The UIL Academic Team competed in District 18-3A competition at Mildred High School on Friday 3/24/23. The kids did an amazing job representing Palmer and we walked away with several medalists. We will be competing in the speaking competition tomorrow at Eustace. We will know the overall team results following the speech and debate portion of the contest tomorrow.

⚾️ Bulldogs get the series sweep of Duncanville Village Tech with a 17-2 win tonight. Congratulations guys!

Busy morning for some of our Palmer FFA Ag Mechanics students. They are participating in the Ellis County Youth Expo Ag Mechanics Build Off. In this event students have 8 hours to build a project on site using tools that they brought from the welding shop. They are give the pieces of metal and a blueprint and they have 8 hours to complete the build. This activity teaches teamwork, problem solving and time management. Students get judged on safety, completeness of project and quality of workmanship. They made it through the first four hours had a good lunch break and are going again. They are working very hard and making good progress.







Today some of our Palmer FFA Ag Mechanics exhibitors did an excellent job showcasing their projects earning blue ribbons. These students have worked extremely hard building these projects. For our seniors this is their last show. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to helping grow our ag mechanics program. If you see any of these students please congratulated them on a successful show season.










Over spring break some of our Palmer FFA Ag Mechanics exhibitors took there projects to the Houston Livestock Show Ag Mechanics project show. Students did an excellent job exhibiting their projects earning blue ribbons on both. Congratulations on a successful stock show trip.

PHS Hope squad sponsored a grams of encouragement service project today. PHS students were encouraged to write anonymous letters of encouragement to their peers and staff members to brighten their days!
