She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Texas and her Master of Arts in Sports Management from the University of Central Arkansas. Coach Holt has spent the last 13 years teaching English and 11 years serving as a Varsity Assistant coach, where she's had the opportunity to develop student-athletes both on and off the court.

It was a great day for some of our Palmer FFA Ag Mechanics students. Students participate in the Ellis County Livestock Show and Rodeo Ag Mechanics Build Off. They started with a pile of steel and a blueprint and had 8 hours to complete the build competing against 8 other teams . These young men worked hard and were named the 2026 Grand Champion Team and also won the Safety Award.

Last Monday we had around 40 ag mechanics students exhibit their projects at the Ellis County Livestock show and Rodeo. Students did a great job presenting their projects and had 19 blue ribbon projects. The following projects were exhibited in the non sale portion of the ag mech show. We had one group that was awarded the Division Champion for the shop equipment division with their shop table
