Varsity volleyball defeated Rice in 4 sets. Way to keep battling ladies!

PHS Student Council is hosting a blood drive Monday, October 6th from 9am-2pm! We are halfway to our goal! If you are aged 16 or older, you can donate blood! Any student age 16 must bring a permission form signed by a parent/guardian. These permission slips are in the front office and Mrs. Aduddell's room. Students aged 17 and older do not require a permission form. Seniors who donate twice in 1 school year will receive a red cord at graduation. Any seniors who are unable to donate can have a parent donate on their behalf. Please click the link below to sign up for an appointment slot. When time is critical, having blood available is lifesaving.

The PHS Lady Bulldogs recognized our active and retired military and first responders this evening before the volleyball game!

🎡💙 💛 🎡 Palmer FFA Fair Update: From the barns- Sydney Stewart spent all weekend in Waco at the Heart O' Texas Steer show exhibiting her Simbrah steer. She showed in a senior showmanship class and both the scholarship and premium shows! She did an amazing job in all 3 rings! Rosa Castillo just finished up 2 days at the State Fair of Texas, exhibiting her goat for her first big "major" show! She did so well as did her goat! Both of these exhibitors have grown exponentially as exhibitors and it definitely shows in their dedication to their projects.

The FAFSA is officially open! Every senior is required to either complete the FAFSA or submit a waiver before graduation. Visit studentaid.gov to get started, or stop by Mrs. Jones’ office today to pick up a waiver form.

Keep tooting your own horns — you’ve earned it! 💛 Whether they’re twirling a flag or a drumstick, these three brought color, energy, and flair to every beat! 🥁🚩 Join us in congratulating Jesus Hernandez, Sierra Phillips, and Mallory Beaver for their outstanding performances this week!

This week our Ag Structures class were able to continue on with the tiny house project. Students cleaned up the inside of the house. The drilled holes through the wall frames into the trailer frame so that the base was strongly secured to the trailer frame. They cut board to frame around the shower pan and built a wall when the electric fireplace will be installed. Next week we will continue with prep for insulation and finish stairs by putting in toe kicks and stair treads.

Some photos from the ag shop this week. Projects are coming along nicely. We have a great set of students this year that are very talented and enjoy working and learn the skilled trades.
