Congratulations to 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Lindsay Leal, for being selected as Palmer ISD's Teacher of the Game!

Now in her 15th year of teaching with 7 years in Palmer ISD, Mrs. Leal teaches reading and language arts at Palmer Elementary School. Mrs. Leal sees the best in every child and represents all that we stand for in Palmer ISD. She believes in her students, encourages them and is committed to supporting their learning at high levels. It is clear that educating and inspiring children is more than a profession for Mrs. Leal - it is her purpose. We are incredibly grateful for the heart, dedication and passion she brings to our Bulldog family each and every day!

Mrs. Leal will be recognized on the field during pre-game on Friday by Superintendent Jacob Duce and campus administration for her outstanding service to Palmer ISD.

Week of : 9/21-9-24 Start With Hello Week is a program that promotes inclusion and belonging. Our goal is to teach students how to include others so that no student feels alone, isolated, or as though they do not belong. Throughout the next week, we will have greeters welcoming our students each morning, daily inclusion challenges, and classroom lessons led by Mrs. Zambiasi about reaching out to others and helping everyone feel included! Our Start With Hello Mantra: 1. See Someone Alone 2. Reach Out and Help 3. Start With Hello! It is our goal that every student knows they are wanted, they are loved, and that we are so glad they are here. ❤️

Today's Homecoming theme was "dress like a kid/baby." Our kinder team had shirts made with their kindergarten pictures on them! It was so fun for students to see what their teachers looked like when they were little.

Today is I.T. Professional’s Day! Students from Mrs. Wright’s Computer Class worked hard on “The ABC’s of Technology”. Thank you to Mrs. Franklin’s 2nd grade class for presenting Mr. and Mrs. Babbitt with their new book! 💻

Due to item availability, our breakfast cart and snack items have been updated. Elementary students may begin purchasing these items tomorrow, 9/16! Students will only be able to purchase these items if they have money on their account.

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Fillmore, our August teacher of the month, and Mrs. James, our staff member of the month! Lots of planning and preparation went into Pre-K transitioning to the portables. Mrs. Fillmore helped campus and district admin problem-solve and maintained a smile throughout the transition. In addition to her positive attitude, she also loves her kids and makes sure that their first experience in school is FUN! Mrs. James joined our campus this year and continues to be a team player! From schedule changes, adding first and fourth grade music classes, or last-minute coverage, her answer is always, "Yes!" Our staff is incredible and works tirelessly to support our students and families. We are blessed with the best in PISD! 🖤💛🖤
