UIL Academics

Palmer Middle School participates in the University Scholastic League (UIL) events through the A+ Academics division, which is for grades 2 through 8.  Students have the option to try 20 different contests that include writing, speaking, and various subject area skills.  This is open to any interested Palmer Middle School student.  We compete at our District Zone meet during the month of December.  A+ Academics is a great way for students to practice skills and learn something new.  Participation helps students prepare to compete in high school UIL events, which can lead to scholarships.
