Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Middlebrooks

I was born and raised in Ellis County.  I attended the University of Louisiana where I received a Bachelor of Science.  Moving back to Texas, I began my teaching career in Ennis, where I taught English Language Arts and AVID for 8 years.  I earned my Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin University in 2013.  I began working here in Palmer in August of that year, first as the assistant principal of the middle school and then as the Principal.

Although I did not grow up in Palmer, the faculty, students, and community have quickly made it feel like home.  The last few years here at Palmer Middle, I have seen a community pull together to support its members during illness, loss, and times of celebration.

I am proud to say I am the principal of Palmer Middle School, and I have the pleasure of working with the hardest working most passionate teachers and students.  Here’s to another great year as a Palmer Bulldog!!
