  • Information on Family Food Benefits

    Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) is a one-time food benefit for families who lost access to free or reduced-price meals due to school closures. Eligible P-EBT families will receive application instructions from schools in late May. The P-EBT application will open the first week of June.

    P-EBT food benefits are for children who received SNAP food benefits for March 2020 and children who are certified for free or reduced-price school meals during the 2019-20 Texas school year. For more information, visit:

  • Palmer High School Class of 2020 Graduation

    PISD will celebrate the Senior class of 2020 on June 4th at Bulldog Stadium. Commencement will begin at 8:00 PM. Specific details on social distancing guidelines for attendees  will be released early next week. Each graduate will be able to bring up to 4 guests to the ceremony. Congratulations class of 2020!

  • Optional End Of Year Assessments for Grades 3-11

    The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is offering all students in grades 3-11 the opoortunity to participate in free, at-home, optional end-of-year (EOY) tests. The results from this activity will show how well your child has mastered grade-level knowledge and skills this year. These tests results are solely to help you support your child and will not be used for accountability purposes for your student or school. You can use the results as you talk with your child's school about how to best support your student moving forward.
